Our area offers a host of outdoor adventures with 37 miles of the historic New River and over 100 miles of hiking trails. In order to help you find your next exploration, we've compiled a list of area activities located within a one-hour drive of Walker Creek Retreat. As you can see, there is a lot to do and see (& eat) while enjoying your visit. There is also a 'To Do' notebook in each cabin so you can peruse the list during your stay (once you've read the top suggestions from past guests in our guest book).
