Where is Walker Creek Barn located?
Walker Creek Barn is located off Route 100 near Pearisburg, Virginia — about 20 minutes from Dublin, 30 minutes from Blacksburg, Radford, or Princeton, and one hour from the Roanoke Regional Airport. The barn sits on a stunning 10-acre mountaintop with panoramic views of the Appalachian Mountains.
How many guests can the barn accommodate?
We offer comfortable indoor seating for approximately 200 wedding guests, with a maximum occupancy of 295.
Is the venue climate-controlled?
Yes. Walker Creek Barn is fully heated and air-conditioned, making the venue available and comfortable year-round.
Do you host outdoor ceremonies?
Absolutely. We offer a dedicated outdoor ceremony site with a seamless indoor backup plan in case of inclement weather.
What amenities are included?
- Spacious Bridal Loft with full bathroom, natural light, and refrigerator
- Groom’s Lounge with mini fridge, vintage Nintendo, and cigar patio
- Round dining tables and padded wooden chairs
- Caterer’s prep kitchen with 3-bay sink and private access

Is the venue accessible and pet-friendly?
Yes. Walker Creek Barn is ADA-compliant and pet-friendly for your ceremony and photos.
Can we use our own vendors?
Yes. You’re welcome to bring your preferred vendors. We also provide a curated list of professional local vendors across every category.
What support do you provide before and during the wedding?
An on-site venue manager provides guidance during planning, coordinates your ceremony and rehearsal, and serves as a liaison between you, your bridal party, and vendors on the wedding day. A walk-through or call is included within two weeks of your date to finalize layout details.
When do we have access to the venue?
Typically, couples have four hours of access on Friday for rehearsal and setup, and full-day access on Saturday beginning as early as 8 a.m. for the bridal party and vendors.
Do you provide décor or ceremony items?
Yes. Complimentary use of our growing décor collection is included, along with your choice of three ceremony arbors — a large wooden cross, a traditional arch, or a Hokie Stone arbor. Draping is available at no additional cost.
Is alcohol allowed?
Yes, alcohol is permitted when served by a licensed bartender under an approved ABC license. (Optional bar service and champagne toast packages are available.)
Do you require event insurance?
Event insurance is recommended for peace of mind but not required.
